AMERICAN LEGION POST 238

The Jim Burgess Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to eligible students who are currently in their senior year of high school, or have already graduated from high school. A person is eligible for only a one-time award.

The award shall be $2,000 payable to any accredited college, university, technical school, vocational school, book vendor, or housing vendor.  An invoice for at least the amount awarded must be provided prior to payment being made.  A minimum of two awards will be granted annually.  Additional awards may be given if the Rider's membership votes to do so.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 30th EACH YEAR.
